In this Ulverston based Semi Senior Accountant job you will be joining an award winning leading accountancy firm based in Ulverston. The firm have 5 partners and offer a wide range of services including accountancy, tax, corporate finance, payroll and cloud accounting. They are now seeking an engaging Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in Ulverston after a period of quick growth.

Your new role
In this Ulverston based Semi Senior Accountant job you will be required to prepare year-end statutory accounts for predominately limited companies who have a range of turnovers from a few thousand through to the millions. This accounts job will include preparing corporate tax returns, self-assessment tax returns and VAT returns. This role with see you liaise with clients on a daily basis and will include both on site and off site engagement. This role will enable you excellent variety in both your duties and clients you deal with.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this Ulverston based Semi Senor Accountant job you must have worked within an accountancy practice for at least a couple of years previously. You will have experience of preparing year end accounts in a practice setting. Ideally you will also be able to use either Sage50 or Iris accounts software. The firm are willing to consider candidates that are studying AAT, AAT qualified, studying their ACCA's or qualified by experience. As this is a client facing role you will need to show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
