Accounts Assistant

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a rapidly growing business in the process of acquiring multiple businesses.

Part Time, Temp to Perm, Accounts Assistant. **£18,000 - £24,000**

18-20 hours a week

Hybrid Working - Monday and Tuesday in the office

Payroll Administration

Weekly - using T&A system get weekly rotas approved by home managers (3 care homes)

4 weekly - prepare payroll reports from T&A, check pay rates, holidays, adjust for bonuses, new starter information and leaver information, expense payments - all compiled and sent to payroll team, check payslips and compare to last pay periods

Adhoc - update T&A system as required to remove leavers, add starters, ensure accurate and complete data Adhoc - Monitor payroll mailbox and deal with appropriately

Procurement

Daily - Raise Purchase Orders for purchase requests from Home Managers, maintain PO records, ensure approval process in line with Group Delegation of Authority, assign unique PO number, place order with supplier and communicate with Home Manager

Resident Pocket Money

Daily - Monitor and assign residents pocket money spend to individual accounts, liaise with Home Managers on expenditure, communicate with fee payers should accounts fall into deficit

Adhoc - assist Finance team with adhoc tasks in relation to two business transactions taking place within the next 5 weeks, includes

Setting up creditor and debtor ledgers (within Sage)

Data cleansing - remove inactive accounts in existing creditor and debtor ledgers (within Sage) Standard Supplier Communication regarding change in entity

NL housekeeping (within Sage)

Setting up new employees (payroll)

Systems - MS365

Excel, Word
