Your new role
You will be a key member of the Global Financial Reporting team and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of the year end end consolidated financial statements under IFRS, providing value-added commentaries and supporting schedules
  • Assist in technical accounting projects including the implementation of new financial reporting standards
  • Ensure both consolidated and local reporting objectives are met
  • Preparation of notes to the annual financial statements under IFRS including liaison with key departments including Group Tax and Treasury
  • Conduct financial compliance reviews for financial statements under IFRS
  • Build and maintain key relationships with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process
  • Establish and maintain great working relationships with regional Financial Directors and Managers, ensuring any regional issues are resolved
  • Assist your manager in implementing new processes to drive efficiencies
  • Support regional financial reporting teams in the production of financial statements, specific to their location
  • SOX compliance and control


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Big 4 trained accountant, ideally at Manager or Assistant Manager, or working in industry with 2-4 years PQE. It is crucial that you have experience in dealing with large corporate scenarios and have experience of working with consolidated financial statements under IFRS. This would be the perfect move for a first or second time mover into industry. You will be ambitious in nature and looking to join a business that promotes development, progression and reward.
