PQ Management Accountant - Commercial Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is a real estate investor/developer focusing on commercial and residential development in and around London with over £700m assets under management. Due to continued growth, they are n ow looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Managing month end processes and reviewing monthly bookkeeping input from the Accounts Assistant.
  • Preparing and presenting of month end reporting information.
  • Preparing and presenting of quarterly cashflow reporting.
  • Preparing quarterly bank covenant compliance calculation/ reporting.
  • Preparing management accounts to Trial Balance including Balance Sheets, P&L, including supporting schedules.
  • Preparing the year-end statutory financial reporting.
  • Overseeing invoice recording/approval/payment process.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Liaising with managing agents.
  • Supervising and managing the Accounts Assistant.
  • Various ad hoc tasks such as manging bank accounts/online platforms, software licences etc

 

THE PERSON: To apply, you will be Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with good academic grades and ideally have previous experience of working within a real estate/property firm. You will come across as a self-starter: able to manage your own workload, priorities, and deadlines as well as willing to take on new responsibilities. Previous experience with Sage 50 would be an advantage. This a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop their real estate knowledge and enhance their commercial experience alongside a core finance role. This role will be working 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
