Based: Central London 

Salary: £150,000 - £180,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

Chief Financial Officer - About the role

Working closely alongside the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will take overall responsibility for the finance function and play a key role in the strategic direction of the business. Duties will include:

• Overseeing the smooth running of the entire finance function 
• Designing and implementing a robust system of financial controls
• Provision of insightful performance analysis and strategic evaluation
• Preparation of reports for Board of Director meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Communicate with investment teams and develop strong baking relationships
• Manage and supervise a small finance team
• Ad hoc strategic tasks as delegated by the CEO

Chief Financial Officer - Candidate requirements

Looking for an energetic self starter who is now looking to take their career to the next level.

• Degree educated, and a qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA with at least 10 years PQE
• 10 years + of proven finance experience within a rapid growth, international environment
• Experience in technology or energy sectors highly advantageous
• Deep understanding of commercial finance and business strategy
• Successful track record of raising finance
• An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality and a commercial mindset
• A strong communicator who has the ability to implement and influence change at all levels.
• Previous line management experience essential
