Client Accountant - Commercial Real Estate - London OUR CLIENT are a highly regarded property and asset management company that specialises in residential and commercial properties within the UK. As they continue to grow their mixed property portfolio, they are now looking to add a Client Accountant on the residential side to their Accounts Team based in London.

 

THE ROLE will see the individual reporting directly to the Head of Property Accounts, carrying out responsibilities such as:

  • Responsible for sole management of a commercial portfolio.
  • Responsible for preparing year-end service charge accounts including budgets, reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Carrying out all processes from P&L balance sheets to Service charge reconciliations.
  • Responsible for raising demands and budgets.
  • Handling all queries and matters arising from clients.
  • Carrying out quarterly and year end reporting for clients.
  • Liaising with auditors at year end.
  • Issuing relevant notices.
  • Responsible for full accounting with Balance sheet and P&L for annual service charge accounting.

 

THE PERSON: To apply, you will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience of preparing year-end service charge accounts for residential block properties. The successful candidate will possess good, solid numerical skills and be proficient with one or more Property Management systems such as QUBE/TRAMPS/YARDI/MRI/PROPMAN etc. This is a great opportunity for someone to work with a growing firm where they can develop internally. This role will be working 5 days in the office.
