CFO - Manufacturing

FO sought for Private Equity backed technology manufacturer, based in West London (Hybrid). Following a successful Series A fundraise, this £20m Revenue group is set for rapid growth.

The CFO will support the CEO and equity partners to complete the process of a group carve-out - building a best-in-class finance team from the ground up, whilst simultaneously creating and (subsequently) delivering an ambitious growth plan.

Key responsibilities:

• Play a key part in executing the growth plans for the business, ensuring financial stability through accurate working capital and debtor management, forecasting, and delivery of return on investment.
• Work with the Executive Leadership Team, Chairman and Investors in shaping the strategic plan.
• Create and manage the annual budget process.
• Build a strong finance function that provides commercial support and challenge to the operations teams.
• Develop robust internal reporting, controls, processes, systems and governance.
• Ensure accuracy in statutory filing requirements, including CT, VAT and R&D.
• Manage a tax mitigation strategy suitable for an R&D intensive business
• External stakeholder management (banks, auditors etc).
• Work closely with the outsourced manufacturing partners to drive efficiencies.
• Operations and financial risk management, including across currencies.

Previous Experience:

• Technology manufacturing exposure.
• Experienced Financial Director/ CFO that has progressed through their career with accountancy and Finance control background.
• SME exposure.
• Private Equity exposure preferred.
• International/multi-currency exposure.
• Multi-jurisdictional tax and statutory governance.
