Want to work closely with an MD and the SMT and with the potential to become a Finance Director, be part of the exciting journey that this company is taking and deciding its strategic direction then look no further than this Financial Controller (FC) Role working for this market leader in creating and distributing high-quality products based in Weybridge.
 

 

In order to support its growth, the MD is now looking to bring in a senior finance leader to head up the finance team and further strengthen the management team. This key appointment will form part of the senior leadership team and has the potential to become a Finance Director position in the near future. They are looking for an experienced FC level candidate with a proven track record in a growing SME business who has the potential to become a valuable member of the board.

Key responsibilities of the FC include :    

 

  • Full responsibility for managing the finance function, including timely production of financial and management information, monthly management accounts and the annual audit. Develop budgets and robust forecasts in line with strategic plan Monitor cash flow and report on business performance Provide financial analysis to support projects and new business initiatives Drive efficiency across the business, work with key stakeholders to improve KPI's and enhance decision making Review and develop financial control framework to support further business growth Manage the companies FX exposure with oversight of all import / export documentation Responsible for compliance, VAT, PAYE, HMRC tax, insurance, company secretarial matters

 

 

The ideal FC will be a Qualified Accountant, be commercially strong, have a proven track record in a growing SME business and in return will receive a salary between £60k-£75k plus the potential to become a Finance Director position in the near future. The role is office-based and full-time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm. During the Summer they close at 2pm on a Friday
