Group Financial Analyst

Partner Financial are working with a FTSE 100 business services company based in central London. The business has developed and implemented an operation strategy that has resulted in consistent and exponential growth over the years. Subsequently, such growth generates interesting opportunities for work projects, development, and progression for the team at head office, and particularly for the finance team which has a great track record of developing and promoting staff across the Group.

The successful candidate will work within the Group Reporting & Analysis team which sits within the CEO’s wider finance team and is led by the Group Financial Controller. The candidate will report to the Group Reporting Manager and will be assisting with the team’s group accounting and reporting work,

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing the group’s monthly management accounts
• Preparing year end and half year group consolidated accounts
• Group accounting work, including cashflow, pensions and share options
• Assisting with FP&A tasks throughout the year including annual budget and forecasting
• Reviewing & interpretating of technical IFRS developments
• Assisting with group reorganisations, dividend flows and tax structures
• Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts
• Consolidating and reviewing group budget and strategic plan

The Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Excellent academic record
• Structured and organised approach to work, self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
