Senior Financial Accountant

Partner Financial are working with a FTSE 100 business services company based in central London. The business has developed and implemented an operation strategy that has resulted in consistent and exponential growth over the years. Subsequently, such growth generates interesting opportunities for work projects, development, and progression for the team at head office, and particularly for the finance team which has a great track record of developing and promoting staff across the Group.

The successful candidate will report to the Group Reporting Manager and will have the experience necessary to advise on all technical accounting and corporate reporting developments and to lead the team’s work on the more challenging accounting areas such as group reorganisations and restructuring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of month end reports for several business units
• Producing and overseeing balance sheet reviews
• Overseeing the posting of month end journals
• Reviewing & interpreting technical IFRS developments
• Leading the team’s work on implementing new accounting standards and maintaining group accounting policies
• Ensuring reporting is consistent and system driven during development and testing
• Supporting the Group Reporting Manager and the Group finance team with year-end work
• Producing a weekly cash flow forecast analysing variances and challenging numbers

The Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Good technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Comfortable with a variety of finance systems
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload within tight deadlines
