Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner | West Kent | £45,000 to £50,000

Work with a historic and well-respected Social Charity based in West Kent, as their new Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will be responsible for maintaining standards, controls, and procedures across the charity, and overseeing a small team.

The Role: 

As the new Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include: 

• Contributing to the delivery of the organisational three-year Strategic Plan
• Establishing a key working relationship with the Financial Controller and Business Partner colleagues
• Line managing direct reports, building the potential for the team to grow in accordance with future business needs
• Proactively work with non-finance managers to ensure that the finance function becomes embedded in the business and provides value-adding and innovative commercial/financial services, advice, and support
• Liaising with external stakeholders, e.g. funders, commissioners, and auditors as appropriate.
• Utilizing Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, developing financial models to produce integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows

The role is a Hybrid role following probation.

About You: 

• The ideal person will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIPFA qualified
• You will preferably have a charity background and the ability to lead and manage relationships with budget holders acting as a focal point for financial advice and support with the FD, Stakeholders, and External Auditors
