Management Accountant | £33,000 - £37,000 + benefits including full study support package | Manchester (Hybrid working model, 3-4 days home working each week)

The Opportunity

Exciting private equity backed group experiencing (and forecasting) major ongoing expansion have an opportunity for a CIMA / ACCA studier to join as Management Accountant.

It’s a modern and forward-thinking group – a consultancy business focused on renewables and green energy projects… highly ethical, hugely scalable and an extremely interesting business.

• You’ll enjoy lots of variety and significant scope to develop and progress.  You’ll be working for an approachable and supportive FC who can provide valuable mentoring and guidance.  It’s a platform for rapid skills enhancement and you’ll be able to round off your practical experience in parallel to completing CIMA or ACCA.
• You’ll be stuck into management accounts prep, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, month end close, balance sheet integrity, VAT.

You’ll also be given the opportunity to really understand a modern PE backed business which is always an excellent addition to any CV!

The team are looking for individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic and keen to learn.  People with ambition and proactivity.

• You need to be progressing through CIMA or ACCA (and have completed either a relevant degree or AAT).
• You also need to have a firm baseline of core accounting skills (currently be Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant).
• You’ll also have solid practical understanding of Excel.
