SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join a business based in Ashbourne in Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop into the next step in their HR career. My client is flexible on hours and could look at a part time option. The ideal candidate for the role will have Sage HR experience.

You will be responsible for:

- Working with colleagues to make sure all essential HR processes are followed by providing timely advice to employees and managers
- Ensuring HR files are maintained in line with GDPR
- Supporting management with staff training and development (T&D) and maintaining T&D files accordingly, including scheduling regular Performance Development Plan reviews.
- Support recruitment campaigns by administering the process and ensuring managers are kept updated on progress.
- Process new starters, leavers, and contractual variations, ensuring the correct authorisation is in place, contract changes are issued, and systems updated
- Support the induction timetable process with Line Managers for new starters
- Ensure all necessary payroll inputs and changes are processed accurately and timely, including hours, commissions, target pay, tax code notices etc.
- General payroll administration
- Overseeing administration of the online leave system
- Maintain accurate systems and data at all times
- Maintain Health & Safety records and liaise with Branch managers regarding Health & Safety matters
- Assist with tax year end reporting duties, such as P11Ds
