Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Are you a qualified accountant adept with putting in place improvements to financial processes and systems?
This newly created appointment is for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with approx. 5 years post qualified experience. Based in East Hull the role sits within the established finance team of a high-profile company and part of a large international group.

THE ROLE:
The Project/Change Management Accountant role is a key role within the finance department and will lead all aspects of review and improvement in financial processes, systems, and other improvement initiatives within finance
The role will also represent finance in other business projects to ensure the impact on financial processes are understood
The Project/Change Management Accountant is responsible for continual improvement in financial processes and systems. The role will play a key part in the delivery of an ERP replacement project
The individual will be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
To succeed the individual will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop key relationships within the department, the business, and the wider group.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with minimum 5 years PQE and the ability to demonstrate excellent knowledge of managing and working in a strong financial control environment
Possess detailed knowledge of finance processes and best practice with an understanding of project change and the change process
Have a high standard of systems literacy is required including Advanced Excel skills
You must be capable of meeting demanding deadlines and be able to adapt quickly to changing business needs

Highly motivated and an effective communicator, you are a confident decision maker able to develop sound working relationships at all levels
