Job title: Air - Senior Accountant - Costbase

Salary: £49,135+

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the monthly Chief Operating Officer (COO) costbase activities for your area, taking a lead role in ensuring that management and the business Finance team are fully supported, with all key deadlines being achieved
  • Acting as the main point of contact, informing, advising and supporting budget holders in the management of their costbase, using the standardised set of toolsets and reporting to achieve maximum efficiencies across the team
  • Leading on the monthly reporting, presenting financials (alongside the business partner) to senior finance management
  • Leading the COO Integrated Business Plan (IBP) process (5-10 yr budgeting) in line with the wider plan, including preparation of presentation packs, challenging and querying submissions and consolidation for finance and business senior management reviews
  • Collaborating with other integration leads to drive process improvements and efficiencies, supporting requirements to Air and helping embed standardisation of FP&A information across teams
  • You'll also have people management responsibilities as part of the role

Your skills and experiences:

    CIMA, ACA, or ACCA QualifiedAdvanced Excel skills and understanding of accounting standardsManagement Accounting background/experienceExperience of Planning analytics or LN (Financial systems) is desirable
