Finance Manager
Trigate, Oldbury
Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience (FTE) + Benefits
Up to 37 hours per week. Hours to be agreed with Director of Finance & Resources. Option to be flexible around hours will be considered.
We are looking for a driven and ambitious addition to our finance team to perform a wide variety of duties assisting in delivering an ambitious strategic plan for growth.
Next year, Vision Homes Association and New Outlook Housing Association will be joining forces to ensure that the important work we do supporting people with sensory or specialist needs, continues to grow through ever-challenging times.
At this exciting time we are looking for a Finance Manager who can manage day-to-day finance function and payroll processes across both organisations existing systems, as well as assisting the Director of Finance with the preparation of finance and governance reports for our partnership working. Alongside this you will need to have the necessary skills to develop a plan for reorganising our existing finance systems to realise growth and efficiency for the future.
Experience required for this Finance Manager role:
Ideally you should be Qualified Accountant/qualified by experience - CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent or be currently Part Qualified accountant with intent to qualify. You should have a proven track record of :
- carrying out day-to-day finance tasks (sales ledger, cash books, purchase ledger, payroll)
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts for Social Housing Provider & Charity governance
- Setting up, managing and developing the accounting software
- Line managing and supervising junior members of the finance team
