Financial Controller for a Virtual Healthcare Start-up


A virtual Healthcare company is looking for a Financial Controller. The rate is £350/Day (Outside IR35) & they offer fully remote working. This role will be 3 months, with the aim for you to become permanent.

Your new company:

I am currently working with a virtual patient outsourcing start-up with a £4 turnover. They provide technology-enabled clinical and operational expertise, making it better for patients, healthcare professionals and the NHS. They are undergoing Series B, which is raising the value of the company to £70M.


Your new role:

The team is looking for a Financial Controller to join their close-knit finance team of 4. They are keen to hire a self-starting and highly ambitious accountant to take on this role and help the business be in a strong position to continue to grow and evolve. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about a long-term career, working for a PE/VC backed SME/Start-up & very keen on data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month End Close
• Year End Close & Statutory Reporting
• Tax
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• FP&A Support Data & Commercial Analysis
• Team Management

What you'll need to succeed:

• To be fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Keen on Data
• SME/Startup experience
• SQL Experience (Desirable)
