Financial Accountant, large and complex global manufacturing business, Wirral, £50000 to £55000

Hays are delighted to be partnering with a large global manufacturing business with a significant presence in Wirral. The company has extensive international operations and this role will focus on their EMEA subsidiaries.


Your new role
As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for all balance sheet control and reporting for multiple entities across a number of jurisdictions and countries including the UK. You will complete all month end, quarter end and annual financial accounting procedures including the management of the annual statutory reporting.

In addition to the accounting responsibilities, you will get exposure to VAT and some taxation reporting with the support of external accountants and partners in each country ( this includes some UK reporting).

You will play a key part in the capital planning and reporting for the businesses under your responsibility.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified accountant with extensive knowledge of Financial Accounting and Statutory accounting.
You must be organised and self-disciplined to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and to deadline.
You must be prepared to work on a variety of projects and improvement plans alongside the regular monthly tasks.
This would be an ideal role for a qualified accountant looking to move out of practice and into a challenging role in industry.
