This successful owner managed design and manufacturing business based in Bradford is recruiting a Financial Controller for a newly created role. This is a great opportunity to join a profitable and growing business in a role where you will take full ownership of the finance function.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a small team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for driving financial and operational performance. Duties will include the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, balance sheet management, overseeing financial transactions, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and managing pricing and costings to improve margins.

What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Controller will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in a SME manufacturing business. You'll have great communication skills, strong organisational skills and an eye for detail. This role would suit someone who has operated at Financial Controller level already, or someone who is ready for the next step in their career.
