A rare opportunity for an ACA / ACCA part qualified or finalist to progress their career in audit, with one of the country's leading Top 100 firms.

Your New Firm: 

  • This award-winning Top 100 Accountancy Firm is an organically growing Lancashire firm and off the back of consistent year on year growth, they are now looking for a Audit & Accounts Senior to join their Corporate Services team to be based in either their Bury or Blackburn office.
  • This is a fantastic career opportunity for a part qualified accountant or finalist to expand their skills and experience within an award winning and reputable firm.

The Role: 

  • As the new Audit Senior, you will perform statutory audits as well as preparing year end accounts and client advisory projects on an ad hoc basis.
  • Your work will be weighted 75% audit and 25% accounts and advisory assignments and the large majority of clients are local to the Lancashire region.
  • You will also lend your expertise to the corporate finance team on live projects, which will give ample opportunity for you to develop your advisory experience.
  • You will gain exposure to a broad client base including international businesses and entrepreneurial OMBs across a variety of industries and really develop your technical and commercial skill set as you complete your studies and gain post qualified experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed: 

  • The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA part qualified or finalist who has trained within a reputable firm gaining exposure to audit work.
  • The firm will consider applicants both from a Top 10 background (100% audit focus) or those who work within an independent firm in a mixed role and are looking to develop their audit exposure.
  • As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will operate in a client facing capacity, working on multiple audit assignments and therefore you must be able to demonstrate strong communication and organisation skills.
  • As travel is necessary for the role you must hold a driving licence.
