Location: Caerphilly

Salary: £110,000 - £140,000

This opportunity is with a market leading and uniquely positioned fast growing flooring company. Our client has grown 30% in the last financial year and will do so again in the current financial year.  Located between Cardiff and Newport, our client will consider the option of Hybrid working.

Building on 49 years’ experience combined with high levels of innovation, our client is the market leading provider in their sector.  Our client’s strategy is for the business to grow internationally and domestically to a £37 million valuation within 5 years.

This role, as a Board member, being Finance Director is pivotal, with the opportunity to make a real difference to the performance of this enterprise as the Finance Director.

The Finance Director will work closely with the MD, COO and Senior Management team to define strategic vision as well as the direction and management of income and value drivers.  One of the key contributors to this companies success has been the exceptional culture and strategic clarity combined with a uniquely strong family ethos.

As the Finance Director you will:

• Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent
• Strongly believe that culture drives success
• Have raised funds and managed funders in a high growth environment
• Have demonstrable experience of bringing strategic direction that has been materially effective
• Have created and implemented Models within Excel

We are also interested in someone who has:

• Experience of product, distribution / stock businesses or a candidate who can bring in lateral experience from a related sector
• Experience of directing / overseeing capital projects including ERP implementation
• Growth across multiple jurisdictions, geographies and currencies

Salary range £100,000 to £135,000 depending on experience plus benefits and discretionary bonus scheme to be implemented.
