Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a global business based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for a talented Financial Controller, with strong forecasting and analytical skills to join their team. This is a 6 month FTC, full time position and hybrid working is already being supported in the workplace.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and possess strong commerical accounting skills.
Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP finance system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Financial planning and management of staff costs, sales and margins;
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to set monthly targets;
- Oversee accounting and forecasting functions;
- Assess financial models and make adjustments where necessary.
