Job Title: Interim Internal Controls Consultant
Day rate: £600-750 per day (outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months initially
Location: Berkshire / Remote / Hybrid
Established UK technology group are looking to hire an experienced Interim Internal Controls Consultant asap for a period of circa. 6 months initially. The assignment can be delivered via a hybrid working arrangement, with ideally a minimum of 2 days per week spent in their Berkshire offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal control expert during the project, which will enable future controls-based audits
- Support design and implementation of the finance internal control framework
- Developing finance process mapping and documentation following best practice
- Knowledge transfer and training to wider finance community
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant and/or Auditor
- Strong track record of internal control projects, and ideally appreciation of UK SOX
- Experience of end to end process mapping and documentation
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
