Finance Assistant + Study Support - Basingstoke

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire RG24 (hybrid working)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000+ study support and benefits

Job Role:

Responsible for putting together the monthly management accounts including variance analysis against budget and forecasts

Key month-end tasks such as accrual/prepayments, fixed assets, balance sheet recs, group month-end reports

Business partnering with the senior stakeholders

Responsible for the reconciliation of the Balance Sheet

Taking ownership of producing first draft monthly forecasts and working with the accountant to produce the complete forecast

Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets

Assisting manager for the preparation of annual statutory accounts & tax packs

Responsible for key weekly and monthly head office reporting

Preparation and support in the audit of financial statements (Internal and external)

Covering core monthly tasks of the data analyst (e. daily uploads, monthly price uploads)

Personal Skills and Attributes

ACCA, ACA or CIMA part qualified or looking to study

Strong core education, graduate or equivalent qualifications

Some finance experience is desirable

A passion or drive to develop within finance
