Due to recent growth and expansion they are growing their team.
Duties will include:
- Contribute and support throughout the Budget and Forecasting process
- Play a key role in the production of the long-term capacity plan for each programme the business will launch
- Develop an understanding for the market and illustrate this in the recommendations given to the business
- Run yield processes and monitor load factor regularly to flag when decisions need to be made.
- Resolve queries and execute changes at tour departure level when changes are made post launch
- Work closely with Data Management on adhoc investigative work to improve margin for the business
- Involvement with the pricing sign off and delivery of this in a timely manner to marketing to ensure brochure launch deadlines are met
- Take ownership of processes that ensure the pricing and departure dates available for sale are correct
- Preparation of the Marketing budget and cost forecast
- Month end review including correct accounting for accruals and pre-payments, raising journals etc. for sales and marketing
- Monthly reporting of Marketing costs
- Develop and maintain reports for a variety of stakeholders to provide relevant information that drives the business forward. Including production of the weekly trading pack for executive directors.
- Liaising with other teams within the business and business partnering with both finance and non finance stakeholders around any analytical queries or adhoc requests
- Execute adhoc trend analysis to both develop personal understanding of trading and answer questions following the weekly trading meeting
- Improve established Power BI models and dashboards
- Drive automation through advanced excel and Power BI Dashboards
- Identifying any anomalies and correcting data issues
- Drive improvements in processes across the business
Ideal candidate:
- Part-qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA
- Great opportunity for someone who wants to pursue a data or finance career path
- Preference for someone with degree in a mathematical or accounting discipline
- Someone who embraces a challenge and is inquisitive enough to follow a lead and find the solution
- Attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, proactive and 'can do' attitude
- A thirst to learn more about the industry and market they are working in
- Strong excel skills
- PowerBI not essential as this can be taught
