This leading independent firm in the North West are seeking an Audit Senior to join their Liverpool office. The firm have four offices across the North West and their Liverpool office is one of their most high performing offices within the firm. This accountancy practice offer a full general practice suit and have specialisms in a variety of sectors.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for leading on a range of statutory audit and some accounts assignments. Your role will include involvement in all stages of the audit process from planing, reviewing fieldwork, reporting and completion as well as reviewing and preparing financial statements for a range of limited companies. There will also be the opportunity to gain some corporate finance exposure with special project work that falls within the corporate team you will sit in.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has strong audit skills. You must be competent in leading audit assignments and ideally also be competent in preparing financial statements. The firm will consider accountants who either work within a small - medium size general practice and would like to gain more autonomy or accountants from the Top 10 firms who are looking to decrease the demands of audit in their workload.
