A Top 15 Accountancy Firm are looking to appoint a Business Services Executive based in Manchester

Your new company
I am currently working with a top 15 Accountancy firm who are market leading business advisers. This is a leading innovative firm who have a fantastic offering in Manchester City Centre, where they are looking to expand their Outsourcing and Business Services department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that had grown quickly in recent months. There is some fantastic scope for progression within both the immediate team and wider business, where you will have a varied and established Accountancy career. This opportunity may be ideal for someone with an Audit background, who is looking to make that transition to an Accounts role.

Your new role
Reporting to the Business Services and Outsourcing Manager, as Business Services Executive you will be managing a portfolio of clients, some of which are very large, well-renowned businesses, where you will be responsible for producing accounts. The businesses can be up to £20m in T/O and include a real range of industries. You will prepare management accounts, consolidate financial statements, assist with balance adjustments and preparation of corporation tax. It will be your responsibility to manage your own deadlines, keep your clients and manager updated at all times, and developing strong working relationships across your portfolio. In addition you will support with the mentoring and development of junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a technically strong individual, with a proven track record of preparing statutory accounts at a high level. You must also have a high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will ideally be part qualified, or fully qualified.
