SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for an exciting PE backed business in Northampton. As the FP&A Manager you will be the pillar of the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for you put your stamp on the business and support all commercial and strategic decisions.
As the FP&A Manager you will manage and develop the group finance management team, plan and co-ordinate annual budget & multi-year plan cycle, the quarterly forecast process, and standard monthly and weekly management reporting requirements including reporting actuals and variances and providing insights to the budget holders and the leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee & lead the finance management accounting team.
- Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning,
reporting and metrics
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Partner directly with the finance team and business partners to collaborate on metrics, goals, and
Business reviews.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organisation.
- Provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be
made
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at
all levels of the organisation.
- Oversee the production of the monthly/quarterly/annual group financial reporting to the Exec,
Board and Shareholders
- A key member of the Finance Improvement Plan, ensuring there are robust and tested plans in
place for business continuity, and drive for standardisation and improvement
- Ensure the groups consolidation tool is fit for purpose and the reporting structure reflects the
businesses' structure.
- Support the CFO and Group FC with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
You will be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with first rate knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles. You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment with experience of developing financial reports and metrics. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the business at all levels. You will have Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. You will have superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
