The Management accountant role will report into a hugely impressive Head of Finance who is keen to develop people within the team and likes promoting from within. The Business have just become operational on one of their largest projects therefore the role is due to growth. The business also has an on multiple sites nationally and international. This business has in amazing modern offices based in the heart of Trafford with a free on site gym. This company is all about internal grow with having a development plan on the successful candidate can reach the next step in their career .
Your new role
Maintain the fixed assets registers, prepayments, accruals, intercompany and post journals. Oversee and own the bookkeeping process to ensure the trial balances and P&L are fully reconciled each month, including intercompany and payroll. Prepare quarterly Group VAT returns. Review and approve weekly and monthly payment runs to be processed by accounts payable - multiple currencies across multiple subsidiaries. Support the accounts payable and the finance assistant with any queries and further develop their experience
What you'll need to succeed
Have in depth accounting skills including producing P&L's, financial reporting & balance sheet reconciliation. Have good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP's/ Pivot Tables) . Have high attention to detail, the ability to communicate both verbally and written at all levels and be a good team player
