Trainee Accountant

Investigo are working with a large real estate organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team due to growth over the last 12 months. This role will offer the right candidate full study support and the opportunity to develop their skills across a wide range of area's within the finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Processing and posting cash and cash reconciliations
* Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
* Monthly journal entries, accruals and prepayments
* Assisting in the preparing of P&L accounts
* Maintaining Accounting records
* Helping to produce Management reports and analysis
* Assisting with month and year end duties
* Any other ad hoc tasks required by the Senior Financial Accountant/other staff as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
* Numerate
* Actively studying or keen to study for a finance related qualification
* Excellent communicator both verbal and written
* Good team player
* Friendly, inquisitive and helpful mindset
* Structured problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail
* Service delivery focused
* Time-management and strong organisation skills
