Financial Controller

A Financial Controller job, broad finance role for this SME manufacturing business in Manchester.

Your new company

This £10m manufacturing business has a specialised portfolio of products, with an international customer base spanning local SMEs to other multinational conglomerates. With the support of a large group they are financially secure and eager to keep delivering best in class products for their existing client base.

Your new role

Supporting the senior management team, you will be the primary point of contact to provide useful financial information to the various stakeholders. You'll lead a small finance team who will support you in the production of management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow management and stock control. This is a broad finance role and will provide a variety of challenges on a day-to-day basis.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification. You will also have a strong analytical skill set to interpret financial data, alongside the communication skills to articulate this information to key stakeholders. You will be interested in getting involved with operational projects and adding value through commercial finance initiatives. Your career to date will also have strong examples of supporting growth within small/medium sized businesses.
