Financial Controller

Our client is a fast-growing Media company who are growing both organically and by acquisition. They are seeking to hire a Financial Controller who will report into the Finance Director as they expand their finance function in their next chapter of growth.

The Financial Controller will work very closely with the Finance Director and key stakeholders to drive the growth of this business. This is a varied and broad role. You will lead the team in day-to-day finance in financial control, reporting and accounting as well as business partnering with non-finance on commercial decision support. You will be leading budgeting, forecasting and annual planning as well. The Financial Controller would support in all financial decisions relating to the delivery of their core strategies and business plans. They will also lead on various project including pricing analysis and business cases for new programme launches. This role will also manage your own team with the ability to build further as the company grows.

They are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). They are looking for someone who has the ability to work in a fast-paced company and has strong stakeholder management skills. Experience within the Media or Technology industries would be highly advantageous but is not essential. This company is award winning for its culture and being people centric so personality fit will be also key.

The role is paying a strong basic salary, bonus and benefits package and they are based in Central London (Zone 1). The company operates a hybrid working 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home.
