Sellick Partnership has been engaged by a entrepreneurial, growth focused organisation to recruit a Finance Manager on a 6 - 9 month FTC basis (Immediate start) with the possibility of going perm once shown the value you can add.
The Finance Manager role is to build and drive continual improvement across management accounts, bring the companies P&L, Balance Sheets, Reporting up to standard whilst working closely with the owners as they look to go through the sale on one area of the business to then re-invest and drive growth in another revenue stream.
As the Finance Manager you will work closely with a small accounts function, to understand the inner workings of the business, pull together a commercial view of the business, areas of opportunity and risk and delivering required reporting to the MD / Board.
· Monthly management reports (back date from June 2022)
· Get accuracy on current months revenue income.
· Budgeting & Cashflow Forecasting
· VAT returns
· Oversee payments to suppliers and monthly operational costs.
· Potentially bring payroll back in house.
As the Finance Manager, you will come from a qualified background (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or a strong QBE will be considered. You will be able to review information and formulate a continuous improvement plan and implement changes to provide excellent month end procedures, accurate reporting on the business at any period in time, reconcile accounts across divisions.
You will be a self-starting Finance Manager, with the ability to manage key stakeholder expectations, deliver on ad-hoc requests and be a value add focused individual the MD / Owner can rely on.
