Game Changing role in the North-West for an Ambitious Finance Director, £100k-£120k + package including equity. START UP VIBES! - You'll be joining a hugely exciting PE backed group at a stage of rapid scale up. Currently circa £10m turnover and highly profitable - looking to drive ongoing major growth and complete an exit event in the next 36 months (which will see you personally pay off a decent chunk or all of your mortgage)... It's a business in relative infancy and would suit someone who will absolutely thrive in a truly agile and highly ambitious SME. Your role is absolutely vital - supporting the brilliant COO in delivering the plan and all strategic and tactical decision making. It's NOT AN IVORY TOWER CFO ROLE.... you won't be digging into bank recs or journals but you will absolutely be walking through budgets, modelling pricing strategies, looking at spend & cost management... you need to be cool with your sleeves up. You also need the gravitas and commerciality to play a lead role (alongside the owners / PE house) through the exit. Experience of M&A activity in some way shape or form is needed (you will ideally have been the primary finance lead for a business purchase or sale previously). Really interesting group with an innovative and interesting niche market offering, collaborative and hugely passionate small boardroom to be part of, investors with a superb track record, great package... springboard for future exciting work with the PE house....

You need:

• Attitude is vital!! You need to be someone with a calm, positive and proactive approach to problem solving.  Someone who will love the cut and thrust of a well-managed growth SME. To be extremely confident presenting credible financial information to a non finance audience including the PE backers, business owners, future buyers, banks, auditors etc. ACCA, CIMA or ACA. A strong track record of making a difference – you will have already stepped to FD level and be looking for a role that you can really get teeth into. Experience of hospitality / multi site leisure or retail would be a major advantage.

This will be an incredible few years and the springboard for massive future opportunity.  Loads to get stuck into – highly visible and commercially involved FD role within an SME where you can impact major change, deliver growth and see through an exit…
