Temporary Freelance Bookkeeper

A well-established Accountancy Practice is looking for a Freelance Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis, based at their office in Kirkbymoorside or Pickering. Hourly pay is circa £20 per hour depending on experience and qualification. The role also offers attractive working hours with potential flexi-time, as well as the opportunity for this role to be done on a full-time or part-time basis.

Reporting into the Senior Team, the Freelance Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

Assisting with accounts preparation for clients. Conducting audits and producing audit files for review.Working independently and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met. Demonstrate professionalism within the office environment and whilst attending client premises or communicating with clients verbally or in writing. Build and develop trust and relationships with your clients, always maintaining client confidentiality, in order to build a professional network. Be proactive in terms of managing your own workload and being aware of when it is necessary to prioritise certain tasks. Other ad hoc duties as requiredThis is a brilliant opportunity for a finance professional who is looking for a temporary/interim role before Christmas. Experience within an Accountancy Practice is desirable, but is not essential and proven experience would be viewed equally.

This opportunity would ideally suit an individual who is studying, part-qualified or fully qualified in AAT, ACA or ACCA. Qualified by experience (QBE) or those with proven experience will also be considered.

Based at our Client's Kirkbymoorside or Pickering office, this role is commutable from Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Thirsk, York and surrounding areas.
