Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a leading Retail/Consumable goods business to recruit a Business Intelligence Analyst on a hybrid working basis (2 days in the offices).
My client boast a household name and have grown exponentially internationally. As such, they are seeking an ambitious Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Business Intelligence Manager and will have a dotted line in to the Commercial Finance Director.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for:
- Developing creative Business Intelligence solutions to support the entire Group of businesses
- Using data warehouse principles to provide assurance of consistency between applications
- Supporting key stakeholders across the business with best practice, reliable data and an outstanding customer first approach
- Identifying requirements, developing solutions, providing user roll out training and providing post implementation support
- Detecting potential problems and proposing solutions in advance
- Supporting the design, development and maintainenance of BI dashboards to allow users to track, analyse and report on key performance indicators and other metrics
- Actively search for accuracy in Reporting, implementing the necessary controls
- Proactively providing analysis of potential improvements in process
- Working within agreed target times and publication of monthly/weekly report updates
- Qlik server administration, including user set up and license management
- Interpreting internal stakeholder requirements with a high degree of customer focus
- Liasing with avariety of stakeholders, such as IT, Commercial Finance and Sales & Marketing Teams
To be considered the Business Intelligence Analyst will:
- Have an inquisitive nature with a desire to learn and achieve results.
- Knowledge and experience of development within business intelligence platforms and tools.
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills.
- Data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse multiple large data sets.
- Ability to problem solve, break down complex issues and develop solutions based on findings in the data.
- Experience of developing Qlikview or Qlik Sense dashboards.
- Experience using API based data queries (i. Google Analytics, Salesforce).
- Good development lifecycle experience including requirements gathering, design, and documentation, and User Acceptance Testing.
