Senior Finance Manager | Liverpool, Hybrid Working | Salary £65,000

A rare opening with a large multinational organisation based on the outskirts of Liverpool for a Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract to start as soon as possible. 

This role offers the successful Senior Finance Manager a chance to further their financial career in Banking and Finance. 

The Role: 

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to one of the divisions looking at ways to reduce costs and maximise profitability. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Ensure your team delivers all operational financial reporting.
• Reviewing and challenging costs.
• Provide financial support to the sites and Group capital process supporting its alignment to the Group strategy to deliver an increased ROIC.
• Responsible for the financial accounts
• Management of monthly management and financial accounts in line with deadlines
• Liaise with operations to provide support on risks and financial issues.
• Oversee period end/year end accounting and submission of consolidated accounts.
• Present financial information to board
• Manage budget setting process for the manufacturing sites providing summary of performance.
• Liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure all controls meet statutory requirements.

About You:

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant.
• Ideally have experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Have strong technical finance skills.
