Management Accountant

A brilliant opportunity for an up-and-coming Management Accountant to join a privately owned national construction company based on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire.

Salary is between £35,000 to £45,000p. depending on experience, plus private healthcare, flexible working, with an exciting prospect to progress into Finance Manager level.

This role will suit a proactive Management Accountant who is CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified.

As the Management Accountant, you will support the Head of Finance with:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgets
• Cash flow
• Reconciliation
• Taxation and HMRC reporting
• Reviewing and implementing new processes
• Developing other members of the team

To be a successful Management Accountant in this company you will ideally have:

• Effective communication and team working skills across all levels
• Experience of producing full management accounts
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Reached CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified status
• Previous Management Accountant experience in a similar industry is advantageous

The role is easily commutable from Leeds, Wetherby, York, Pocklington, Selby, Malton, Market Weighton, Driffield and surrounding areas but due to the location own transport is essential.
