First Time Mover from Practice - Management Accountant £50,000 - PE Backed leader in Property

Your new company
A Private Equity backed Property and Real Estate Business based in Manchester. This exciting business is currently going through a period of growth and is looking for a practice candidate to join as a management accountant in their Finance Function.

Your new role
As management Accountant you will report directly to the Finance Manager. Your key responsibilities will include; Preparing timely and accurate management accounts for at least seven subsidiary companies, Preparing Accruals and Prepayments for month end, Balance sheet reconciliation, Preparing intercompany -recharges each month including invoices, Intercompany reconciliation, Monthly revenue recognition and reconciliation, Group Cashflow preparation and management, Managing the fixed asset register for the service companies, Maintain records and support annual auditing process, Recommend methods and strategies for cutting costs, Assisting in other ad hoc tasks when required and general support to the finance team.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with sound and fundamental accounting knowledge. You must be a first time mover from practice looking to take your first step into industry. Experience of auditing property real estate businesses is preferable alongside great interpersonal and strong communications skills. Good team working skills are essential and the ability to work independently when required, along with strong organisational skills.
