Executive Director of Finance and Business Services

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Salary: £115k

Due to planned retirement, we now have an opportunity for a senior finance professional to be part of our team. This is an ideal opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to what we do, building on existing strengths, while exploring new opportunities and approaches. We’re looking for a blend of technical, financial expertise and a focus on outcomes that enables you to make connections between effective financial management and better outcomes for customers.

Joining our Executive team this person will take on a broad remit that includes Finance, Risk, People and Communications, Governance and Legal, so it’s important that you have the breadth of perspective that enables to you bring effective strategic leadership and direction across these different aspects, working closely with highly capable Heads of Service and Managers in each area. You should be a qualified accountant and you will take the strategic lead on key resourcing issues, including refinancing, pensions, ESG standards and overall organisational efficiency. You’ll be a visible corporate leader in the organisation, offering expert advice at Board level to support well-informed and evidence-based decision-making.
