Tremendous career opportunity for a Big 4/large firm trained newly/recently qualified ACA to join one of the "top drawer" premier employers in the Liverpool/N West region.
My client, based in prestigious offices in central Liverpool, is a high profile and fast-growing Financial Services/FinTech AIM listed Plc which has maintained its strong growth trajectory based on unrelenting product and market channel innovation.
Reporting directly to the high calibre/well respected Group FC and regular interface with the CFO and other Board level colleagues, this is a great opportunity to "make your mark" to achieve strong career progression within this meritocratic switched-on business culture.
The initial brief will include significant input to
- Delivery of the annual and bi-annual Plc Audit in close liaison with the Big 4 Auditors.
- Production of timely and robust financial reporting.
- Coordination of monthly management accounts and insightful MI/Board reports.
- Support to the group's Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning process.
- Ongoing development of financial systems and processes, operating on an ERP platform.
- Provide coaching and development of more junior Accounts staff.
- Overall, to provide proactive input and support to the Group FC and CFO to constantly "raise the bar" across this fast growing AIM listed Plc.
Candidate profile:
- V high potential newly/recently qualified ACA having trained in a Big 4/large national firm.
- Technically strong with strong commercial/business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to liaise confidently across the business including regular interface at senior/Board level.
- Any direct experience of AIM/Plc Audits would be a further advantage although not pre-requisite.
