Assistant Management Accountant (TEMP)

Axon Moore are partnering with a small business based in Ancoats, Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Temporary Assistant Management Accountant for a 2-3 week period. The role is based in the city centre with excellent transport links.

The company are looking to help with all transactional invoices, journals and reconciliations through a busy period up until Christmas. This role supports the Head of Finance.

Salary – Up to £30,000 per annum based on an hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing all invoices
• Maintaining a clean purchase and sales ledger
• Reconciliation of supplier statements, credit card and bank accounts with a high level of accuracy
• Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
• Credit Control
• Journals
• Expenses
• Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required

Experience and skills:

• Experience in an all-round accounts role or similar accounting position
• Experience with accounting software would be an advantage
• An AAT or similar qualification would also be an advantage
• A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative
• Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
• Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
