Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking an entrepreneurial Financial Controller to join a PE-backed MedTech business based in Central London, and gain vital experience for a future FD role.
The business improves lives with a specialist product, and aims to reach new markets and double annual EBITDA through an international growth strategy focused on organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Reporting to the CFO and a supportive PE house, you will ensure the successful running of the finance function, and lead constant improvements to its financial systems, processes, and controls. This will ensure all financial forecasts and analysis, including monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, adhere to the highest standards for key stakeholders. You will contribute to the continued expansion of the business into international markets, working with the senior leadership team to integrate acquisitions and their finance functions.
Experience working in an international business will contribute to a global commercial strategy, where strong relationships with business partners, investors, and banks champion a culture passionate about growth and wealth creation.
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience working as an FC, preferably in a PE-backed business.
- Knowledge of working in an international business
- Technical accounting expertise and strong system skills
- Exposure to a broad remit of financial responsibilities in a similar role in an SME environment
