Senior Finance Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting for a well respected and successful FMCG business in Worksop as they look to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst.

The purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis and insight to support stakeholders to drive action and improve future performance. The successful Senior Finance Analyst will support a robust budgeting and forecasting process and lead multi-site improvement activities as required.

Duties will include:-

* Ensure financial reporting including weekly flash, weekly profit and loss, and month end close are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
* Develop and communicate key performance indicators to monitor and drive positive change and expand understanding of cost or margin drivers
* Ensure input into costings is accurate and within agreed timescales
* Build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
* Support budget and quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision making
* Identify, challenge, and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation, and insight to the functional teams to promote effective delivery of commercial and operational performance
* Continuously review business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency and business improvement
* Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensure queries are resolved in timely and effective manner
* Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

* CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (QBE will also be considered)
* FMCG/ Manufacturing experience
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Finance Business Partnering skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communicator
* Ability to handle multiple sometimes conflicting priorities
* Ability to pick up and learn new technologies quickly
* Able to build trust and rapport to develop effective relationships, internally and externally
* Ability to understand and translate business requirements into reporting solutions and analytical data sets
* Demonstrate an understanding of finance processes and systems
