I am recruiting for a Management Accountant role based in Hammersmith to join a small but established finance team in a growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career, someone who has buckets of initiative and keen to learn / develop. You will need strong excel skills and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

The Role

• Prepare and analyse reports regarding profit and loss, cash-flow and balance sheet variances against prior reports and budgets.
• Take overall responsibility for maintaining and monitoring key P&L costs, including but not limited to utilities
• Key point of contact with suppliers, working alongside them to review and control monthly costs
• Maintain detailed and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts
• Produce and post monthly journals to record accurate financial information, including prepayments and accruals
• Assist with year end and half year reporting, including preparing supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to create a reporting process for management reporting and stats, audit and tax accounts.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures.

Candidate specification:

• Ideally ACCA / CIMA part-qualified
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
• Positive, reliable and a team player
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload
• Able to use initiative
• Competent in Excel
