A leading Lloyd's Managing Agent who has undergone significant growth and changes to their group structure are looking for an additional head to join the FP&A team. Reporting a Divisional Finance Director, you will support in the planning process and the delivery of financial analytics to group and internally. You will be integral to the development and streamlining existing processes and controls, as well as implementing processes and service offering to insurance entities an on a new Oracle System.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and further developing the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes for the division
  • Planning and Implementing the transition from an Excel based budget and reporting processes to budgeting and reporting using the new Oracle System at service level detail
  • Developing and implementing a revised plan and process for reporting actuals and for re-forecasting them by service level.
  • Reporting and Analysis of actual expenses against forecast and budget, providing detailed levels of insight and explanation to functions and to entities.
  • Leading the further development of Business Partnering requirements and services to functions and entities.
  • Management of a small team of Financial Analysts supporting the planning and reporting of expenses and business partnering.
  • Leveraging the usage of the new Oracle System

To be considered for this role you will have excellent commercial acumen gained ideally in a planning function within a financial services organisation. You will understand the Expense FP&A cycle and be able to challenge senior stakeholders across the organisation.
