A fantastic opportunity has come up for an Accounts Administrator to join the family office of a leading asset management company in Central London. The ideal candidate will come from a financial services or professional services background, and will have a strong finance and administrative skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Responsible for checking/reviewing and processing invoices to ensure timely payments from the Principal’s four main bank accounts:
o Liaising internally with relevant teams to sure the correct bank account is used for each payment
o Liaising with vendors to query any invoice discrepancies and ensuring follow-up
o Assisting with drafting instructions to be sent to the relevant bank
o Updating and maintaining records of payments
o Dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
o Direct communication with the Finance Assistant, EA Team, Family Office staff or Principal regarding any payment queries
Assisting with cost reports and invoice approvals
Assisting with maintaining and reconciling petty cash
Working with the Principal’s business/Family Office EAs to assist with general administration and projects from time to time:
o Answering telephone calls and taking messages
o Ad hoc assistance when required
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
2+ years’ experience in a similar role in Finance, Book-keeping or accountancy
Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong numeracy skills
A background in Financial Services or Professional Services
Good business acumen with a desire to learn
A problem-solving and solution orientated approach
Good working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
This role is paying £40-50k DOE and is a 5 days per week office role
