Senior Accountant -Energy - Immediate Start - Hybrid Working - Central London - 12 Month FTC
Role & Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the monthly management accounts
- Group reporting tasks and duties
- Stock reconciliation
- Manage period end reporting process in SAP for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statement, Cash Flow, Intercompany.
- Post accruals/adjustments/other required journals
- Preparation of VAT returns workings and reconciliation for other Duties and Taxes
- Bank reconciliations ensuring all postings and cash allocations are up to date
- Provide the required input into the monthly and quarterly group consolidation
- Manage external reporting under IFRS and US GAAP
About You:
- Qualified Accountant ACA or equivalent
- Experience in energy trading
- 5+ years experience (preferably in Commodities)
- Qualifications and/or Degree in accounting
- Good knowledge and experience with SAP
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Audit experience is an advantage
