This job is to start on a 6 month probation period / contract with progression opportunities and a chance to extend
 

A rare opening for a Chartered Accountant to join a family office group of companies, many of which are investment holding entities. This role offers the successful candidate a chance to further theri finance career, in a sought-after firm'.

Main duties of this Chartered Accountant:

• Manage accounting and report on small property portfolio.
• Compiling data and reporting in consolidated family office report.
• Debtor, Creditor and Banking Accounting using Xero.
• Expense reporting in family office.
• Maintenance & management of properties.
• Other ad hoc tasks that may be required.
• Compile tax files.
   

We are looking for:

• Qualified accountant (Chartered accountant or management accountant).
• Self-starter and someone who takes initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Takes pride and ownership in role.
• Ability to add value and improve on existing workstreams.
• Technically strong.
• Accounting.
• Financial analysis.
• Tax knowledge (Not expert, but understand enough to compile information for experts).
• Treasury and bank management.
• Excel, Word and any MS applications.
• Xero experience preferred.
• Able to present and communicate analysis and findings to then team.
• Bonus is the candidate has experience with data analytics (such as Power Query, Power Pivot and PowerBI).
