Your new company

Your new company is a Japanese conglomerate business based in Central London with excellent transport links, though the company are operating on a hybrid working model meaning they are in the office 2 days a week.

The company operate across a range of different sectors from media to manufacturing, and food to energy - operating across the European markets with this specific department - and so you will likely be travelling to Europe around 2 or 3 times per year.


Your new role

In your new role, your principal responsibility will be to perform the fieldwork for their Internal Audits, in an effort to complete the annual audit plan, which will relate to the key risks identified within their various business units and subsidiaries. You will also need to ensure that the audit is properly conducted, and that the results of those audits are reported both accurate and fairly to the relevant stakeholders, which will include management locally as well as Group leadership teams.

The role also encompasses some Internal Controls work and so you will need to support the review of the testing of Controls, at Company and Process levels. These will have been identified by management of the Group, and your role will be to ensure that the standards of financial reporting as required by J-SOX, are maintained.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA or IIA) - though people working towards this status will be considered
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit, within a matrix, complex structured organisation
  • Experience with Internal Controls, Sox or J-Sox would be highly beneficial
  • Willingness to travel to Europe 2-3 times per year
  • Ability to live and work in the UK without restriction or sponsorship
